This month, I’m proud to highlight the work of our 2025 Survivor Training, Advocacy, Networking, and Development (STAND) Program Fellows, who are leading trainings in communities across the country. These webinars are more than educational—they are spaces for transformation, grounded in lived experience and a deep commitment to change.
At World Without Exploitation, we believe survivor advocates must lead the development of trauma-informed solutions to end sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Through mentorship, education, and network-building, the STAND program equips survivor-leaders to drive impactful advocacy in their communities.
Representing diverse backgrounds and experiences, our Fellows are raising awareness, shifting perspectives, and strengthening responses nationwide. Their leadership reminds us that those closest to the issue are closest to the solutions—and we are proud to stand alongside them.
We invite you to join us for our final three STAND trainings this month and learn directly from these incredible leaders as they continue to drive change across the country (see STAND training schedule below).

WorldWE In Action
Last month, WorldWE Policy Associate, Bella Peracchi, joined Rights4Girls and local partners in Rhode Island to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee in favor of SB 2145/HB 7201. This bill would order those convicted of sex buying to attend a mandatory sex buyer accountability program and pay a $1,000 fine while directing those funds to be collected in the crime victims compensation fund, help finance the sex buyer accountability program, and incentivize demand reduction strategies by law enforcement.
