Survivor Speak Out – STAND Program & WorldWE Youth Coalition on the Fundamentals of Combating Sex Trafficking.

Join us for a powerful conversation with survivor leaders from WorldWE's Survivor Training, Advocacy, Networking, and Development (STAND) Program as they examine the current state of sex trafficking in the United States. This webinar will center survivor voices while exploring what has changed, what gaps remain, and what meaningful action is still needed to combat commercial sexual exploitation. Our discussion will highlight key legislation such as the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act (TSRA), the Frederick Douglass Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA), and California AB 379, the Survivor Support and Demand Reduction Act. We will examine which legislation has been successful and which hasn’t, and outline the next steps in advocacy.
