Memo: Team Lunch Ideas for Next Week
From: Marketing Dept.
Date: October 12

Hi everyone,
Just circling back on our conversation about the upcoming team lunches. We wanted to gather some final thoughts before placing the order with the cafe. Several people mentioned enjoying the Mediterranean options last time, so that's definitely on the
list. The quinoa salad with roasted vegetables and feta was a particular highlight, according to the feedback sheet.

Jenny from accounting suggested we try the new sandwich platter they've been advertising, the one with the roasted turkey and cranberry aioli. She said it looked good when she was there for coffee yesterday. Mark in logistics is still advocating for
the build-your-own taco bar, but we need to check if they can accommodate that for a group our size with the short notice.

On a different note, has anyone tried that new recipe for the sheet-pan chicken with potatoes and herbs I made it over the weekend and it was surprisingly simple. You just toss everything with olive oil, salt, pepper, and some rosemary, then bake it.
The potatoes get really crispy. It's a good option for a busy weeknight. My neighbor was talking about a similar method but with sausages and bell peppers instead.

Back to the lunch planning, we should also consider dietary notes. We have two gluten-free requests and one dairy-free. The cafe's menu usually marks those options clearly. Let's make sure we have a solid vegetarian main as well, maybe that lentil an
d sweet potato stew they do. It's usually very filling.

I'll draft the final order by end of day tomorrow. Please send any last-minute cravings or aversions my way before then. Also, don't forget the department meeting is in Conference Room B, not A. They switched it due to the AV setup in A being service
d.

Oh, and regarding the office coffee supplies, we're all set for the next month. The regular blend has been restocked, and we got a few bags of the decaf dark roast that people asked about. The maintenance team said the drip machine in the break room
on the third floor is fixed now. It was just a clogged filter.

Let me know if there are any other items for the lunch order beyond food. They do those fresh-squeezed lemonades and iced teas. Might be a nice touch if the budget allows. Talk to you all soon.

Best,
The Planning Group

P.S. The book club is meeting next Thursday to discuss the historical fiction novel. They said new members are always welcome. It's at 5:30 in the small lounge.
