WorldWE In Action
WorldWE's Policy Director Becca Zipkin (far right) joined 30 anti-trafficking leaders at the Tebow Foundation's Most Vulnerable Persons (MVP) Strat-Op in Jacksonville, FL to help develop a national blueprint for change. L-R: Cristian Eduardo, Survivor Leader; Tim Tebow, philanthropist and former pro football player; and Yasmin Vafa (Rights4Girls).
In New York, WorldWE and coalition partners introduced the Victims Protection and Child Sex Buyer Accountability Act—sponsored by Assemblymember Paulin and State Senator Myrie—to close a dangerous loophole that treats buying 15-, 16-, and 17-year-olds for sex as a misdemeanor.
Nationally, the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act (TSRA) (H.R. 4323) passed the House, marking historic progress toward allowing survivors to vacate federal convictions and rebuild their lives. It is now pending approval in the Senate.

2026 NYC Child Trafficking Prevention Conference

The NYC ACS Office of Child Trafficking Prevention and Policy’s 2026 NYC Child Trafficking Prevention Conference will provide 22 free, virtual workshops in recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month. The workshops, held between January 7 through January 30, will be provided by national and regional experts, all of whom currently work directly in trafficking awareness and prevention.
