Hey team, just circling back on the weekly check-in notes from Tuesday. The main focus was streamlining the inventory checklist for the seasonal items. We agreed that the current system works but could use a slight tweak to the column for supplier co
des. I'll draft a revised template by Friday for review.
On a completely different note, I tried that new recipe for the lemon herb roasted vegetables last night. It was quite good, though I think next time I might add a bit more thyme and perhaps some sweet potato for variety. The roasting time was perfec
t as written. Has anyone else given it a try I'd be curious to hear if you adjusted the oil quantity.
Regarding the upcoming department meeting, please remember to bring your updated project timelines. We'll need to allocate time to discuss the Q3 planning session dates. I've booked the main conference room, but we should confirm the A/V setup works
with the new laptop connectors. Let me know if you need an adapter beforehand.
The weather has been surprisingly mild this week, which made the morning commute much easier. I saw they've finally started repaving the section of Elm Street near the main entrance. Hopefully that will be wrapped up before the weekend traffic picks
up.
I've been reading an interesting article about urban gardening techniques, specifically about container growing for smaller spaces. It mentioned using certain types of fabric pots for better root health. Might be a fun side project to look into when
the spring comes around again.
Back to work topics, the client feedback report from the regional survey is now compiled. The overall sentiment is positive, with a few specific points about digital navigation that we should address in the next platform update. I'll schedule a brief
meeting with the web team to go over the details, perhaps early next week.
Remember to submit your time-off requests for the holiday period by the end of the month. The approval process usually takes about a week, so planning ahead is best. The calendar is starting to fill up, so earlier submissions help with coverage plann
ing.
I think that covers most of the general updates from my end. Let me know if there are any items from your side that we should add to the next agenda. Otherwise, I'll see everyone at the regular stand-up tomorrow morning. We can do a quick review of t
he new procedural document then.
Oh, and the office coffee supply has been restocked. We have the medium roast and the decaf option available again. The water filter in the kitchen dispenser was also replaced, so the taste should be back to normal. Small victories.
Looking forward to wrapping up the week on a productive note. Let's aim to have the draft proposals finalized by Thursday afternoon so we have time for a final read-through. That should give us a good head start for the following week's priorities.
