We might still be waiting for Valve's Steam Machine, but its updated controller goes on sale next week. We have not one, but two reviews of the new hardware if you're curious. Jay Peters is a Steam Deck obsessive who's found the new gamepad a perfect complement to the customizable controls on the Deck, while Cameron Faulkner takes a little more umbrage with the $99 price tag but sees its potential even when only paired with a PC. Either way, Valve has proved it still has serious hardware chops.
