Anthropic just launched Opus 5

Anthropic launched Opus 5 on Friday, the latest version of what used to be the company’s flagship model (before the launch of Fable 5).

Anthropic claims Opus 5 comes close to the performance of Fable 5 in many domains — all at half the price of Fable 5, reports Frederic Lardinois. The company stresses that Opus 5 can autonomously perform work for much longer than before, checking its own work and recovering from errors.
