# **How Crusoe makes scaling AI less painful**

As enterprises move from experimentation to deployment of AI, fast, easy and affordable inference is growing increasingly important. 

One [estimate from Gartner](https://www.thedeepview.com/articles/running-ai-agents-will-cost-5x-more-by-2028) finds that, especially as agentic workflows continue to drive up token usage, inference costs are expected to grow fivefold by 2028. But competing on affordable infrastructure isn't Crusoe's only advantage. The company is also offering efficient and seamless integration throughout its portfolio. Its Managed Intelligence services, for instance, is designed to help companies at any stage in their AI journey. This sits at the heart of Crusoe's Intelligence Foundry, a single user experience that simplifies deployment, fine-tuning, and monitoring, allowing teams to focus on models over infrastructure. 

Crusoe's Managed Intelligence services are split into a few primary offerings: 

* Its Serverless Inference offering is designed for "immediate production readiness," said Ho, allowing teams to scale AI without needing to provision or manage any of the infrastructure. 

* Crusoe's Tailored Deployments, meanwhile, give customers options for workloads that need custom infrastructure. The company's engineers work with customers of all sizes to design deployments around their specific needs, including traffic patterns, latency requirements, model choice and compliance. 

* And Self-serve Deployments are for developers in need of dedicated compute capacity. These can be launched in minutes and are configurable to a developer's specific optimization needs. 

* For users wanting to fine-tune a model without the overhead, Crusoe offers Serverless Fine-Tuning, allowing customers to upload their own dataset, select an open model of choice and fine-tune for their specific use case. 

Additionally, the company contributes to the open-source market with inference-serving frameworks and orchestration. For example, the company built "fastokens," a high-performance tokenizer that improves serving and throughput, and have been integrated into mainstream serving platforms including vLLM, SGLang, and NVIDIA's Dynamo. 

"In short, we offer an owned cloud platform for cost and speed, a full-lifecycle Managed Intelligence portfolio, open-source contributions, and flexible deployment models to suit any customer's needs," said Ho.

And with AI growing more powerful and complex by the day, companies are seeking partnerships that make AI deployments as seamless as possible.
