I was just thinking about the team lunch next week. We should probably decide on a place soon. Maybe that new sandwich spot that opened on Maple I heard they have a great roasted vegetable option. Or we could go back to the usual pizza place, but I feel like we do that a lot. Let me know what you think. I can send a poll around if that helps. On a different note, I tried a new recipe last night for a one-pan lemon herb chicken with potatoes. It was surprisingly simple. You just toss everything with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and some rosemary, then bake it. The potatoes get really crispy. I might make it again this weekend for my family My sister is coming over, and she’s usually a tough critic when it comes to chicken dishes. She always says it’s too dry. This method kept it pretty moist, though. I’ll have to see if it passes the test. The weather has been so inconsistent lately. One day it’s warm and sunny, the next it’s pouring rain. It makes planning anything outdoors really difficult. I wanted to start a small herb garden on my balcony, but I’m worried the seedlings will get battered. Maybe I should start them indoors first. Do you have any experience with that I remember you had those nice tomato plants last summer. Speaking of last summer, did you ever finish that book club book we were all supposed to read I got about halfway through and then got sidetracked. I should pick it back up. The characters were interesting, but the plot moved a bit slowly for my taste. I prefer something with a little more momentum. Anyway, back to work topics. The quarterly review documents are due by Friday. I’ve compiled most of the data, but I need to write up the summary section. I always find that part the most challenging—trying to condense everything into a few key points without missing important details. Perhaps we could briefly touch base tomorrow morning to align on the messaging A quick fifteen-minute call should be enough. Let me check your calendar and send an invite if you’re free. I also need to follow up with the vendor about the updated delivery schedule. Their last email was a bit vague. I’ll draft something today. Hope your afternoon is productive. Don’t forget the department meeting at three. They’re supposed to discuss the new project timelines I’m curious to hear how the planning phase is going. The initial scope seemed quite broad, so I hope they’ve managed to define some clear milestones. Clarity from the start usually saves so much time later on. Well, I should get back to these spreadsheets. Talk to you soon.
