Hey team, just wrapping up the notes from the weekly sync. The main focus for next quarter is streamlining the checkout process based on the feedback from the last member survey. John mentioned the produce department is testing a new supplier for org
anic berries, so we should see those in about two weeks. The sample batch was really well received in the break room yesterday. Speaking of which, has anyone tried that new recipe for the lemon herb chicken I made it last night and it was a hit with
the family. Really simple – just chicken thighs, lemon zest, rosemary, and a bit of garlic. Roasted with some potatoes and carrots. The key is to let the chicken marinate for at least an hour. Anyway, back to the meeting notes. The logistics update
from Sarah indicated the new warehouse scheduling software is on track for a phased rollout starting in the northeast region. Training materials are being finalized this week. Mike from marketing circulated a draft of the upcoming seasonal circular.
The photography looks great, very clean and bright. He asked for any final product notes by Thursday. On a personal note, I finally got around to planting those tomato seedlings last weekend. The weather has been perfect for it. I'm hoping for a goo
d yield this summer, maybe enough for some homemade sauce. Remember the community picnic is scheduled for the last Saturday of the month. Lisa is coordinating the potluck sign-up sheet. I think I'll bring my potato salad, the one with the dill and a
touch of mustard. It's always a crowd-pleaser. Don't forget to submit your time-off requests for the summer period by the end of the month. HR sent a reminder email this morning. The conference room projector is acting up again. IT has a ticket open
for it, but in the meantime, we can use the small meeting room for any presentations. The agenda for the next leadership offsite is still being drafted. The main topics will likely center on long-term sustainability initiatives and member retention s
trategies. The preliminary data from the first quarter looks solid. I've been reading this interesting book on organizational habits. It talks a lot about the power of small, consistent processes. Makes you think about our daily routines, both at wor
k and at home. For dinner tonight, I'm thinking of trying a one-pan pasta dish. You cook the pasta right in the sauce with some broth. Seems like a good way to cut down on cleanup. Okay, I think that covers most of the items. Let me know if I missed
anything from your departments. I'll send the finalized notes out by end of day. Hope everyone has a productive afternoon. The coffee in the break room is a new medium roast from that local supplier. It's quite good, very smooth. Cheers.
