If they are mini split heat pumps there are some VERY specific maintenance procedures and practices that need to be followed. Especially how to clean the indoor coil and maintain the drain. Let me know if you want more info. OR if they are a big legit company you can have them do the maintenance as cleaning those coils are a huge messy business. You can ask them if they do it. If they have no idea what you are talking about then " Houston we have a problem ".

You should install a ball valve on the discharge for servicing of the pump. You need to install a grinder pump it will need to discharge to a 4 inch drain due to the pressurized discharge. Installing the check valve in the vertical will not hurt nothing. Install a ball valve above it. That way if you need to service you kill the ball valve disconnect at the check valve and unscrew the connection to the pump. Not a pleasant task when dealing with human feces. The vent will not need servicing. It will need to tie into an air only vent no drainage. Also the drain tie in should be a wye on its back or vertical with 10 times the pipe diameter clearance from any drain. Again a pump discharge is a problem on gravity sewers.
