2025 Costco Wholesale. .

Hi Fiona, hope you had a good weekend. This morning started calm, with a slow drizzle outside. The air smelled a bit like earth and grass. I brewed some mint tea and listened to my neighbor's wind chimes. It was relaxing. I like quiet moments where it's easy to hear the little sounds around us, like the ticking of the clock or rain dripping from the eaves. It puts me in a thoughtful mood. Today I planned to move my books around—I never seem to keep them organized for very long.

I found one I forgot about, a collection of tiny poems. I read a few and smiled at one about a hummingbird pausing by a red flower. Simple lines can sometimes say a lot with very little.

I also glanced at the patch of wild violets out my window. They look brighter on cloudy days, don’t they Bees come sometimes, but today it’s just them and the rain. I think I’ll sketch the flowers in my notebook this afternoon, maybe add some splashes of color. It’s curious how smells and sounds bring memories back—a train horn in the distance made me remember riding to the lake one spring with you and Mark. We laughed the entire way, and the fields were green and full of new leaves.

Funny how small things bring whole days back so clearly. Anyway, I hope you’re having a gentle Monday. Let’s talk later about dinner ideas. Maybe something simple and warm. Take care, Michael Monday, June 3, 2024
