Licensed Drivers, Your Courtesy Emergency Road Kit from AAA
Road: Driver Update Program:Locl Yes, Pretty much butting against the countertop. I was debating building it so that I could slide the sheet rock in and screw it in where I'm able to reach and the rest is just the pressure of being against the cabine
t. Or I thought about building that one section of the frame next to the cabinet (about 7' tall and maybe 3 or 4 feet deep) and double checking that it fits then maybe screwing the drywall on that one side that will butt against the cabinet into that
part before putting it in place. Then I would just finish the rest of the wall like normal with framing it out and then doing Sheetrock last. I really don't mind if things look a bit wonky
(excuse the mess, the house is a construction site right now haha) If this helps.... This is where the wall would be going. There is a piece of tape on the ground by where the taller side of the wall would be going, and the smaller size would be goin
g between the cabinet and the pie safe cabinet (I just left the pie safe there temporary, I'll move it out the way when I build the wall). The wall with the French door is the one I just finished building and it has a built in stud for attaching the
new wall ... But the ceiling and the exterior wall that's between the cabinet and pie safe does not have a stud.
Honestly my whole house has imperfections here and there and when viewed as a whole you don't even notice it. I mainly am just concerned for safety.

State-Approved Safety Kits • Licensed Driver Participation
As part of a collaborative effort with the state, AAA is providing a special roadside safety kit for drivers. When you are a licensed driver, you may claim your professionally selected toolkit to help prepare for unexpected roadside incidents and dri
ve with greater confidence.
Our current records indicate your qualification for this offer. Less than 200 kits are currently unclaimed. Take a moment to secure yours—this allocation will conclude when all kits are designated.
I wanted to say thank you to everyone!!! I stripped the plywood into planks and made a frame as suggested with it mounted at the foot and head plates of the original wall with more screws in it and liquid nails. I also used some 6 inch lag screws to
tie into the new frame and into the existing stud in the wall that's just off centered behind the cabinet. I added the extra framing around the cabinet using scrap pieces so I have something to screw the drywall into on that side. Thanks again!!! :)
my body hurts I'm gonna call it a day and see how long my hard head can wait to do the drywall :) I was able to complete the project by myself and borrowed my brother's miter saw which is always such a fun tool. My husband did help me hold that long
headed board so I could get it screwed in though. My Dad was a carpenter. He passed away w

What you receive
AAA equips these kits with select items for real-world situations:
• Durable organizer bag, easily stowed in any vehicle • Industrial-grade jumper cables (12ft, extra-thick) • Weatherproof LED beacon • Foldable hazard cone • Reflective safety vest for superior roadside visibility • Tire inflation device
and puncture repair solution • Medical essentials pouch: bandages, cold pack, wipes • Waterproof rain shroud and thermal wrap • Insulated work gloves • Multi-use tool • Heavy-duty tape
Available While Supplies Last: Kits are assigned after verification, so prompt action is recommended.
My brother prefers his pasta cooked al dente, which sometimes contrasts sharply with how others in our family enjoy it nearly falling apart from extra boiling time. This dating back to shared family meals where recipe variations led to friendly debat
es at the table. Alongside those culinary differences, some insist on using traditional tools or methods at home, even when restaurant results seem hard to duplicate. Sometimes it’s comfort, sometimes practicality, but everyone finds satisfaction d
ifferently.
It’s interesting, too, how enthusiasm or gentle critique at shared meals can influence how we prepare food for others—hoping to blend preferences or inspire a new approach. Take crispy potatoes; plenty of people attempt them with stand-alone pans
or older ovens, despite mixed outcomes. There's always a blend of nostalgia and invention at work. We circle back to what feels like home, even if no recipe is ever quite decisive for the group. The fun, and sometimes mishaps, lie in those culinary
experiments.
Food, tradition, and gathering continue to shape how we relate to each other—and ourselves. If your kitchen is anything like ours, the mix of old habits and new tricks keeps things lively. Wishing you enjoyable meals and shared stories as you gathe
r around your own tables this season. May your kitchen adventures bring discovery and joy.
