Sometimes, people were welcomed by bagpipers lining the driveway and Irish step dancers at the door. The seating options are scant, so the rug is rolled up and we all gather on the floor. Dinners range from ceviche to lentil dahl to fried chicken, often eaten out of glass storage containers with my measly silverware.</span></p>
