Hi Lucas and team,
Great hearing from you! Lucas, the reverse sear on ribeye sounds amazing. I personally love grilling sirloin steaks for their perfect mix of tenderness and flavor without too much fat.
For seasoning, I go with a simple combo of salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and a dash of smoked paprika. Letting the steak rest at room temperature for around 30 minutes before grilling ensures even cooking. For those grill marks, I start with hig
h heat to sear each side for a couple of minutes, then lower the heat to finish to your liking.
Ideas on enhancing smoke flavor or other flavor enhancers would be awesome!
Cheers,
Emma

Hi Lucas, Emma, and all,
Your approaches sound fantastic. I usually go for filet mignon for its unmatched tenderness. Occasionally, I add a compound butter for extra richness. My seasoning includes sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a hint of fresh thyme.
A tip I find useful is letting the steak rest post-grilling. I let it sit for about 5-10 minutes under foil before cutting. This ensures the juices redistribute for a juicy and flavorful steak.
For a smoky flavor, I use apple or cherry wood chips soaked for about 30 minutes before adding to the grill. This infuses a rich, smoky aroma without overwhelming the meat's taste.
Looking forward to more tips!
Best,
Ethan
